We are a non-denominational church that has been in the heart of Greenwood for more than four decades.



Our vision is to be a community that sees and shares the hope of Jesus together.




You can become a disciple of Jesus Christ here and experience the hope, peace, joy, and love of God!

Groups and classes for adults; childcare provided through 5th grade; cafe opens for dinner at 5:00pm

  • The Bible

    The inspired, infallible Word of God; the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

  • God

    One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus Christ

    He is God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a literal, physical death, was buried and arose physically from the dead. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return in power and glory in the future.

  • Man

    Hopelessly sinful, yet able to receive salvation solely by grace through faith in the shed blood of Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit

    His present ministry by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.

  • Resurrection Of The Dead

    The believer to life everlasting and the unbeliever to the resurrection of judgment.

  • The Church

    The body of Christ, for which He will return, as composed of all who have accepted the redemption provided in Him.

You are a unique person, made and loved by God, and we are excited to get a chance to meet the one and only you! Before you come on a Sunday, drop us a note to say "hello" and let us know how we can best connect you at Community Church of Greenwood!

We would love to worship with you this Sunday, in-person or online. If you're coming to the church building for a worship service at 9:30am or 11:00am, stop by the Welcome Center right inside the main entrance. We promise we won't embarrass you, we just want to say "hello!" and help you feel comfortable here.

First Steps is a 4 week class that helps you get to know Community Church of Greenwood and get to know yourself a little better, too.


First Steps is for you if you are considering making Community Church of Greenwood "your church" or if you just want to know more about who we are.

Kids

(birth - 5th grade)

We love partnering with parents to help shape the faith foundation of the children in their household. We have dynamic programming every week, and we'd love to show you how you can be the spiritual hero for the kids in your life!



Programming for kids aged birth - 5th grade:

KIDS MINISTRY

Students

(6th grade - 12th grade)

We want to help students develop a faith of their own, and we want every student to have a small group where they feel connected, supported, and a place where they belong.



6th-8th grade students:

Sundays at 11:00am

Sundays at 3:00pm (during the school year)

9th-12th grade students:

Sundays at 3:00pm (during the school year)
